Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

US president Abraham Lincoln's political life was formed by lessons he learned as a toddler and as a young man. that is a known reality. However, precious very little is understood of him growing up. so served as a good place for filmmakers Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov to bring a contemporary voice to the lore of the vampire, imagining Lincoln as history's greatest hunter of the undead.

Bekmambetov was to function a producer till Burton convinced him to direct Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. "I needed to examine Timur's version of this story!" says Burton. "A massive and was that he's from another country, therefore he provides a unique perspective. As I started talking to him, I may see how into it he was obtaining, it absolutely was clear he was the proper director for it. America is largely a rustic of immigrants, too, therefore it looked like someone from somewhere like Kazakhstan may extremely bring one thing to it."

Also, there is a stampede scene within the film, not like any you've got experienced before, where Lincoln finally exacts vengeance on the vampire, Jack Barts, who killed his mother. Atop and across the backs of a thousand charging horses, Abraham runs, jumps, and fights, in a very quick and furious battle against his powerful nemesis. The scene may be a marvel of visual effects wizardry, overseen by visual effects supervisor Craig Lyn and Weta Digital (Avatar, Rise of the world of the Apes). So yeah, no real animals were harmed throughout the creating of this film.

Says actor Benjamin Walker who plays Lincoln within the film, "It's massively exhilarating to own a guide like Timur, somebody who understands storytelling and also the journey of a personality therefore well that you just will actually throw yourself with abandon into that story and go along for the ride."

Fox Star Studios' Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter releases on July thirteen in 2-D and 3D in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
