Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Heroine’ could be stricken by some unknown curse, for all you recognize. The Kareena Kapoor starrer, that has been creating headlines ever since the name ‘Heroine’ was thought of, currently finds itself embroiled in recent controversy.
It hasn’t even been 2 days since the primary official poster of ‘Heroine’ has been released to the general public, and clouds of plagiarism (or inspiration- no matter you’d prefer to decision it) are already looming giant over it. The poster is unusually just like firstly the duvet of a book, and secondly to a promotional photograph for an album.
While Siddharth Dhanvant Sanghvi’s book ‘The Lost Flamingoes of Bombay’ features a cowl that's virtually identical as Kareena’s create within the poster, the opposite ‘inspiration’ that it looks to own adopted is that of a promotional photograph of Mariah Carey for her album ‘The Emancipation of Mimi’.
