Rajnikanth is not doing item song for "Talaash"

"Talaash" director Reema Kagti has denied that Rajinikanth is being roped in for a song-and-dance sequence within the movie -- a rumour that has left the legendary superstar's camp flummoxed.

Rajinikanth's close friends have informed that he is not happy with the news either.

Asked if Rajinikanth is popping into an item boy for the Aamir Khan-starrer, Kagti said: "Not true."

In the meantime, the enduring actor is busy together with his southern project.

A supply said: "At the instant Rajiniji is totally concerned with each department of his new film 'Kochadaiyyan'. he's not even observing doing the other work. He spends all his time with the post-production team.

"He helps his daughter (Soundarya) with the editing, mixing, background score. Most of all, Rajiniji needs to form certain that the computer graphics for the action sequences initiate perfectly. For that he insists on flying out with the technical team to London when they have to figure on the results."

The 61-year-old's associate said: "At initial Rajiniji's family took the rumours of an item song in their stride. however currently the reports are becoming increasingly creative."
